A YOUNG girl has died after a horror road traffic incident in Co Galway. The six-year-old girl was cycling when she was involved in a collision with a truck at a junction. Gardai and emergency services were called to the scene this afternoon shortly after 12pm at Headford Road, Co Galway. The girl was fatally injured at the scene. Her body was removed for a post mortem examination. The driver of the truck involved in the incident, aged in his 30s, was uninjured.

THE Dail has been suspended today as chaos erupted with the Ceann Comhairle blasting TDs for having "no respect". TDs broke into several minutes of uproar, heckling and yelling from their seats in the Dail chamber towards the end of leaders' questions.
