Students gathered to watch the lumberjacks play their quarterfinal match up against Cal Poly Pomona. Campus staff said the university comes together to support their school when it comes to athletics.

A public forum will be held at Cal Poly Humboldt on Wednesday, March 12 to discuss earthquake and tsunami hazards and strengthen community resilience. The event is hosted by Cal Poly Humboldt, the National Weather Service Eureka, the Redwood Coast Tsunami Work Group, and the California Geological Survey. The goal is to educate the public on how to prepare for the event of an emergency.

It was a long road to recovery, but owner Beto Tejeda says it took a lot of hard work to make this possible. "After it burned down, for a year we spent many months without doing anything,” said Tejeda.
