U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Michigan) has introduced a bill that aims to keep Chinese-made vehicles out of the country by empowering the Commerce Secretary to ban imports. The bill, referred to as the Connected Vehicle National Security Review Act, would establish a national security review process for connected vehicles and connected vehicle components manufactured by companies from China or other countries of concern.

President Donald Trump campaigned on mass deportations of undocumented immigrants. So far, he hasn’t been successful. However, it’s not for lack of trying. There’s been several high profile instances where Immigration and Customs Enforcement have detained longtime U.S. residents, who were not naturalized citizens. Some have been deported — often without due process. Many students — including four at Wayne State University — have had their visas revoked with no warning. But what about U.S. Citizens?
