A new push from state lawmakers could help solve cases more quickly, requiring law enforcement to enter missing persons cases in a national database you can access and search too. It helps connect the missing to unidentified remains. 19 Investigates spoke with a woman who found her missing sister here in Ohio using the database herself. Paula Beverly Davis disappeared from Kansas City, Missouri in 1987.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - It’s been more than 10 years without answers for a sister who lost her brother to violence. Lorenzo Frazier’s murder remains unsolved, even though surveillance video caught the possible suspects on camera. On July 29, 2014, 42-year-old Lorenzo Frazier got into an argument with a man outside of a corner store near E. 134th Street and Kinsman Rd. in Cleveland and lost his life. His sister Wannette Demore will never forget finding out.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - It’s now been one week since an 18-year-old boy was shot and killed by another teenager at the Shaker Heights Public Library, according to police. 19 Investigates looked into what other crimes are happening there and what the library is doing to improve its security. We also looked into the crimes we’ve seen in the past at other libraries in northeast Ohio. Shaker Heights Police Department released police calls to service to the library after our public records request.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - 19 Investigates has learned that authorities have made an arrest in the disappearance and death of Catherine Parisi, a young Cleveland mother who mysteriously vanished without a trace in 1997. Michael Bukowski, 50, of Toledo, is charged with murder, involuntary manslaughter, abduction, tampering with evidence, and gross abuse of a corpse, according to court records unsealed Tuesday.
