TOWN OF CALAMUS, Wisc. (WKOW) -- A motorcycle driver did not survive the injuries he got in a crash more than a week ago. On April 14, around 1 a.m., law enforcement officers responded to Owl Road in the Town of Calamus, west of Beaver Dam. According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, someone who lives in the area found Thomas Davis, 37, and the motorcycle in a field. When deputies got there, they performed life-saving measures, including CPR, for 8 minutes.

(WKOW) -- A nonprofit group teamed up with the mother of a Wisconsin road construction worker who was killed in a work zone crash to launch a new course that aims to ensure people understand work zone safety. MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is planning to treat areas in nine western Wisconsin counties for spongy month next month. Spongy moth is a non-native insect that defoliates many kinds of trees and plants during their caterpillar stage. According to DATCP, this causes tree stress, and in some cases, tree death. The treatment effort is an attempt to stop the spread, and low-flying planes will be spraying Bacillus thuringiensis var.
