    Thunderstorms brought torrential rainfall to parts of Evansville and Vanderburgh County on Friday, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a flash flood warning. The agency upgraded the flash flood warning to an emergency at 6:13 p.m., citing "3 to 6 inches of rain" that had fallen in parts of the city.
