FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — An owner of a former business is paying back dozens of Pennsylvania families he admits to ripping off when they paid him for caskets or gravestone markers. Richard Freeman Jr. 39, of Maryland, who was the owner of Greencastle Bronze & Granite, pled guilty in court in Franklin County to stealing more than $200,000 from more than 70 different families. “You lied to your customers, you were cowardly with your customers,” Judge Mary Beth said while looking at Freeman.
