HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Thanks, but no thanks. That was Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s reaction Thursday to a call by Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) for Attorney General Pam Bondi and the FBI to investigate whether the recent arson attack on the Governor’s Residence is an antisemitic hate crime under federal law. “I have total and complete confidence in [Dauphin County] District Attorney Fran Chardo to charge this case as he sees fit,” Shapiro said.
