The jury was brought back into the courtroom to deliver their verdict. They deliberated about three hours. Adriana Blake’s fate is now in the hands of a jury. The defense began their closing arguments in the murder case against her this morning in Scott County Court in Davenport. Defense attorney Christopher Kragnes began by telling the jury he appreciates their work. He told the court that the case is about the tragic deaths of two people, not about other charges for Blake, like armed with intent, robbery and willful injury. “This is the only time Adriana, through me, gets to talk to you,” he said.
