VICTORIA, Texas - A Victoria man accused of killing his mother has been found competent to stand trial after spending months in a state psychiatric hospital. Trevon Martinez, 21, was declared competent on May 2 by doctors at the state facility where he had been receiving treatment since being found incompetent in September due to mental illness.
