+ Top 100 RP rankings for Saves + Holds leagues in 2024. Jason Adam and Colin Poche each had three SV+HLDs this past week despite the short week. Adam even added 7 K’s over the weekend, as he finished his impressive 2024 first half in style. Adam, Poche and closer Pete Fairbanks could all be moved this deadline, but for now they remain a pretty impressive late inning trio. NotesYimi García and Gregory Sotowere added to the list. Garcia is returning from the IL today.

Jeremiah Estrada is becoming a bit of a cherry bomb with his inconsistencies but I still think there’s an easy top 20 holds option here at the end of the day given how much the good outweighs the bad. The four ER outing against the Mets brings down a lot of his numbers but the 43/7 K/BB ratio since being called up at the end of April is still elite.

Alex Vesia is still one of the most underrated relievers in baseball, and it’s really unfortunate he only has 4 holds on the year (2 in the past two weeks) because he’s been amazing really since mid April. Over his past 22.1 IP he has 41.3% K and 15.2 SwStr rates, a 0.67 WHIP, 2.36 SIERA and 121 Stuff+. His fastball is always grading out as one of the best in the game by PLV due to it’s 19.8 iVB! and the sliders not too shabby either (5.43 PLV, 48.3% Whiff).

Ryne Stanek has had some hiccups along the way but for the most part has put together a respectable season so far, and has been really good as of late. He still has a plus fastball at 98.5 MPH with 18.3 iVB and can get whiffs with his secondaries, so he should be a steady holds source. Shelby Miller returned from the IL this week and already has a hold to his credit. With Jason Foley having an up and down May, there’s an outside shot at Miller seeing some more save chances as we move forward.

David Roberston has been locked in as the Rangers’ top setup man, with sparkling ratios and a 35.5% CSW and the highest Stuff plus in that Rangers bullpen (120). He’s been throwing his knuckle curve more often this season, dropping his slider usage (which has been knocked around) while also utilizing the changeup more against lefties than in years past.
