    RITZVILLE, Wash. - A Wapato woman died in a car crash south of Ritzville Saturday evening. According to the Washington State Patrol, the 34-year-old woman sped too fast for the conditions as she drove northbound on US 395 and rolled into the center median. Emergency services transported the eight other passengers to Sacred Heart Medical Center. Only one of the nine people traveling in the 2001 Chevy Yukon wore their seatbelt during the crash.

    YAKIMA, Wash. - A 38-year-old man died in the hospital after being shot on Sunday, according to the Yakima Police Department. YPD told a Nonstop Local reporter it received a report of man at the hospital with a gunshot wound at 4:05 p.m. YPD said they believe the man was shot at the ampm on Yakima Avenue but that is still under investigation. YPD said there is no suspect in custody yet. This is a developing story, which means information could change.

    KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Three Rivers Lacrosse Club is offering a free lacrosse clinic for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade on December 30 at 10:00 a.m. at the  Numerica Pavilion at the Southridge Sports and Events Complex. The club said the  hands-on clinic is designed to introduce children to the basics of lacrosse, a fast-paced sport that combines elements of basketball, soccer, and hockey. Though the clinic is free, pre-registration is required.

    RICHLAND, Wash. - UPDATE 3:20 p.m. The City of Richland restored power to an estimated 1,900 customers who were without power for nearly three hours. The outage started around noon on Sunday and affected residents in north of Snyder Street. The city said the cause of the outage was a squirrel getting into overhead gear.
