Chicago’s second largest bank by deposits is phasing out a longstanding business line — and a substantial consumer lending product. Auto loans have grown dicier for lenders as the prices of both new and used cars rose along with interest rates over the past few years. It’s not uncommon for auto buyers to take out loans with terms as long as eight years.

Edward Tilly has resigned as chairman and CEO of Cboe Global Markets after the conclusion of an internal investigation of personal relationships with colleagues that the board launched in August alongside an independent counsel. "The board of directors determined that Mr. Tilly did not disclose personal relationships with colleagues, which violated Cboe's policies and stands in stark contrast to the company's values," the company said in a Sept. 19 release.

I published a piece looking at the data last week. Some examples: As of early May, murders were down 32% in Baltimore, 35% in St. Louis, 37% in Cleveland, 63% in Denver, 31% in New Orleans, 27% in New York, and 24% in Chicago. Incredible: https://t.co/uZwPOC7nTj
