    College of Engineering Dean Michelle Scherer has selected Shane Oberloier, assistant teaching professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, for this spring’s Deans’ Teaching Showcase. Oberloier will be recognized at an end-of-term event with other spring showcase members and is a candidate for the CTL Instructional Award Series.

    The Diversity Literacy Online Workshop training (DLOW) for the 2024-25 academic year remains open for registration; however, all fall refresher courses are full. There is still plenty of space in the full courses (both fall and spring) and in the two spring refresher courses. If your DLOW status is only valid through spring 2025, please register for one of the spring refresher courses. If you are new faculty, please consider registering for one of the full courses.

    Michigan Tech IT and the Office of the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs are nearing the completion of a yearlong project to restore automatic uploads of Sponsored Research data to Digital Measures at Michigan Tech (DM). To facilitate the final steps, users, unit leaders and assistants should not run reports or pull Sponsored Research data from Digital Measures starting today, Aug. 26, through next Monday, Sept. 2.
