    DENVER — Colorado Gov. Jared Polis signed into law a watered-down but still controversial semiautomatic gun restriction bill on Thursday. In its original form, Senate Bill 25-003 would have outright banned the manufacture, distribution, transfer, sale, or purchase of a "specified semiautomatic firearm," which includes semiautomatic rifles and shotguns, as well as gas-operated semiautomatic handguns with a detachable ammunition magazine.

    LOVELAND, Colo. — If you're looking to see a certain captain at an upcoming Colorado Eagles game, be prepared to pay a pretty penny. The Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday sent captain Gabriel Landeskog to their AHL affiliate in Loveland to begin a conditioning assignment. He will practice with the team and could play in the Eagles' final two regular season home games on Friday and Saturday against Henderson.

Jessica Webb, 51, of Hot Sulphur Springs was arrested on Saturday for money laundering, theft, embezzlement of public property and first-degree official misconduct. She posted bond and was later released from the Grand County Jail.
