    SILVERTHORNE, Colo. — A construction worker was hospitalized, and a Silverthorne neighborhood was evacuated after a high-pressure gas line was damaged Tuesday afternoon, causing a leak. According to Summit Fire & EMS and the Town of Silverthorne, a construction crew was boring in the area of North Golden Eagle and North Chipmunk Lane when they struck an eight-inch high-pressure gas line around 3:45 p.m. The damage caused a leak that required the evacuation of homes within 500 feet.

    MONUMENT, Colo. — An Arapahoe County sheriff's deputy was arrested earlier this month for alleged harassment and tampering. The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said it was made aware of Deputy Nicholas Caines' arrest on May 3. The next day, he was suspended without pay while he was still in custody. The sheriff's office said Caines was arrested in Elbert County on criminal charges out of the Town of Monument.

    DENVER — Authorities have shut down Denver's Union Station due to a report of a suspicious package on the commuter rail platform, according to the Regional Transportation District (RTD).     DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — A judge on Monday lowered the bond for a woman accused of shooting another woman inside the Main Event entertainment center in Highlands Ranch in February. Nevaeha Crowley-Sanders, 23, of Denver, was allegedly part of one of two shootings that unfolded at Main Event just before midnight on Feb. 8. Main Event is a restaurant, bar, and entertainment complex located at 64 Centennial Boulevard.

    AURORA, Colo. — A man who was reportedly trespassing at a private park-and-ride lot that serves the Denver International Airport was shot and killed by an Aurora police officer Monday evening. The Aurora Police Department said it received a 911 call about a suspicious person trespassing at an "off-site airport parking lot" in the 19900 block of East 56th Avenue around 3 p.m. Scripps News Denver crews at the scene confirmed the shooting was at The Parking Spot, located at 19901 East 56th Avenue.
