Tania Peña, a wildlife biologist in Hays and Travis counties at TPWD, said the animals have historically moved eastward in Texas into Travis County.

One vehicle was driving southbound at about 100 miles per hour when a second vehicle tried to pass it at about 140 miles per hour. Police said the second vehicle lost control and hit a guard rail.
