SAN ANTONIO — Dozens of arrests were made in San Antonio this week during a joint effort with multiple law enforcement agencies to crack down on prostitution, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The arrests were conducted in San Antonio from March 19-21 when 34 arrests were made to crack down on various forms of prostitution including online solicitation of a minor, according to Texas DPS.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. at an old Knights' of Columbus hall on the 8000 block of Old Pearsall Road.

SAN ANTONIO — One woman died and a man was sent to the hospital after a gunfire broke out at an "illegal" party on the far southwest side of San Antonio early Saturday morning, according to Sheriff Javier Salazar. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. at an old Knights of Columbus hall in the 8000 block of Old Pearsall Road. Salazar says the violence unfolded at a "rave-type party" being advertised on social media.

SAN ANTONIO — If many San Antonians are planning to travel along Loop 1604 this weekend expect traffic to build as a portion of both westbound and eastbound mainlanes will be closed, according to TxDOT. The closures will begin at 9 p.m. this evening through 5 a.m. Monday and off-duty officers will direct traffic through intersections as needed. Some of the areas to be closed along Loop 1604 will include three ramps.

SAN ANTONIO — An former Edgewood ISD instructional coach has been arrested for improper relationship between a teacher and student after allegedly touching a child inappropriately, according to an arrest affidavit. The incident took place on Jan. 24 but was reported to the school by police on Wednesday stating that Lyndon D. Johnson Elementary coach, Duke Robert Aquirre, allegedly touched a 7-year-old girl inappropriately, according to the affidavit.
