More than 600 rare vintage baseball cards were stored in a Northeast Ohio attic. The family has hired Kiko Auctions in Plain Township to sell them. The sale started May 28 continues online until 5 p.m. June 2. Yep, this is another one of those stories. "The mother had stored them in the cigar box," explained Jack Kiko of Kiko Auctions in Plain Township. Mother has since died.

What: The late John Grimsley, a Canton McKinley High product who went on to an NFL career with Houston and Miami, and his wife, Virginia. Where: Family photo was taken at a Miami Dolphins' Christmas party. When: It's from 1992. The story: After John Grimsley accidentally shot and killed himself in 2008, his wife donated his brain for study.
