What: The Cubs of the North Canton Little League's Major League (11 and 12 year olds) up to bat against the Phillies. Where: The city-owned Hoover Community Recreation Complex on East Maple Street contains eight baseball diamonds. They sit on 19 acres, all maintained by the Little League. When: The photo was shot on April 28, the second day of the season.

Susan Daniel was hired in October at the Stark County Coroner's Office as a suicide investigator and postvention specialist. Her job is to research how to help reduce suicides in the county. Her position is only the second one in Ohio, joining Franklin County's Dallas Allen. CANTON TWP. ‒ Stark County Coroner Dr. Ronald Rusnak's lofty — but admittedly unachievable — goal is to put his office out of business. "I'd like everyone (who dies) to be from natural causes," he said. A utopian county of sorts.
