Just a quick hit of wintry weather today and then it’s back to the unseasonably warm pattern that we have been into lately. Lingering lake effect snow showers start to taper this afternoon with increasing sunshine regionally for the afternoon. It’s a beautiful finish to the week Friday with rebounding temperatures. The Saturday weather has been slipping over the past few days. The clouds win out, with a few rain showers from Buffalo northward, and greater coverage to the rain south and east.

Got another #iceBoom segment headed downriver as of this evening. If you see where it lands give #NYPAenergy a heads up and they will come pick it up. Wind gusting into the 50 mph range yesterday and today has sent more Lk Erie ice towards Niagara Falls. #News4Buffalo #4WarnWX https://t.co/78FAQZqR6D
