    Inspectors from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) visited The Chantry in Chantry Park over two dates in March this year. The Chantry is a registered nursing home supporting 25 people with both short rehabilitation and long-term care of people with brain injuries and other neurological conditions. Inspectors found three breaches of regulations relating to medicines, premises and equipment and governance.

    Big Bro Bao has left its location in the Tower Street Food Hall after finding that they didn't get enough footfall and lost money due to costs. The business was one of the first announced to be opening in the food hall back in November last year, opening alongside London Calling, which is under the same ownership - brothers Joey and Louis James. They started trading in February when the food hall opened.

    Anand Chinnathamby was the subject of the NMC Fitness to Practice Committee on May 27, as they discussed what sanction should be imposed on the former nurse. Chinnathamby was arrested at his home in Ipswich in April 2022 after the National Crime Agency was alerted he had uploaded 10 indecent images of children to his Gmail account. Chinnathamby was the deputy ward manager at a mental health unit in Colchester.
