Hey there Insiders, meteorologist Michelle Morgan here talking about a whole lot of weather things. First off, it looks like Central Florida is in for a stretch of rainy days ahead. Second, there's Saharan dust in the atmosphere causing hazy skies, giving us vivid sunrises and sunsets but lowering air quality. As we head into the weekend, typical summer storms will return, with on-and-off rain and afternoon highs climbing back into the mid to upper 90s.

Whether you're spending the holiday at a backyard BBQ or at the beach, I bet the heat was top of mind as feels like temperatures soared over 110 degrees. Just like what we experienced today, get ready for much more of the same through the rest of the holiday weekend.

Retirement is a milestone many people look forward to, but it also begs the question, what next? Do you take longer naps? Travel? Spend more time with family and friends? The decision really comes down to the individual, but it's always nice to have a little help from those who have been there and done that. Former CBS meteorologist Mark McEwen has had a storied career full of impact. He finished his broadcast career as an anchor at News 6 in the early 2000s following a major stroke.

It's more like August in the Atlantic. What my friend Michelle Morgan is about to talk about helps us out a little bit by preventing tropical activity. What's going on guys? Meteorologist Jonathan Kegges with you. With Invest 95L, the disturbance east of the Lesser Antilles, it's riding very low and missing most of the dust that is out there over the Atlantic. The water is also more indicative of August rather than late June or early July.
