BRANDON, S.D. (KELO) — Thursday was the final day of the school year at Brandon Valley High School, where a select group of students have spent the past nine months working on a special project. It’s moving day at Brandon Valley High School, as three sleeper cabins are making the five-mile journey to Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Sioux Falls. It’s the final step of a student project that got its start last fall, when eight students were selected to be part of a new building trades class.

Art is in the eye of the beholder and there will be plenty to see at the first Falls Art Market of the season. “Artists with original artwork, wearable artwork, fine artwork, functional artwork, a little bit of something for everyone,” Falls Art Market coordinator Lisa Myhre said.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Every year, tens of thousands of bicyclists are injured or killed in crashes involving motor vehicles. Even on a chilly spring morning, bicyclists are out and about in Sioux Falls. On Wednesday night, the local cycling community will gather for a cause. “Every year, on the third Wednesday in May, all around the world cyclists have gotten together to honor any cyclists that have been hit or killed while riding a bicycle,” local cyclist Chris Parsley said.
