Just yesterday, Nov. 12, a Live Nation representative said Oak Mountain Amphitheatre had a great 38-year run and that they are now turning their attention to Coca-Cola Amphitheatre Birmingham . We’re working to see what that means for Pelham. Live Nation has offered no clarity on that comment.

Former President Donald Trump the most famous guest of all, and as usual he was a big topic of conversation among fans. “If I could see him and meet him, it would make my entire night, I’m just glad that he coming and supporting,” said one Alabama fan. The fans are used to large crowds but this was something different. “I have not ever seen a crowd of this size.

By Tristan RuppertWBRCEighteen students graduated from the Birmingham Police Academy Friday. The class was so big Birmingham Police Department moved the event to Bill Harris Arena. The graduating class is also the department’s largest since April of 2020. “I decided to take this path because I do love my community. I love the city of Birmingham. I just want to be a part of the solution,” said new Birmingham Police Officer Jessyka Patterson.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham Police are working on a part- time program that would give their officers a break and officers from other cities a chance at some extra cash. Birmingham Police leaders believe the part-time program could be a game changer. Earlier this year a local Fraternal Order of Police leader said they are begging people to come to work. One complaint we have heard about a lot is the sheer number of events that takes place in the city requires a lot from law enforcement.
