(WCYB) — Following President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee recently signed an immigration enforcement law that would require local officials to press for those policies. One Tennessee legislator who voted in favor of the law is Tennessee State Senator Bobby Harshbarger. It will create a new state enforcement office and the most controversial part, it will make it a felony for public officials to back sanctuary policies.

(WCYB) — Bristol Tennessee City leaders and Steele Creek Park officials celebrated the addition of a permanent Storybook Trial. The trail includes eight child-height panels that follow a children's story. Officials say the main goal of this trail is to promote literacy to kids. We’re hoping that everyone goes outside. This is an all season thing.
