AUSTIN, Texas — It has been nine years since an Austin man's body was found dumped along a deserted road near the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Police still don't know who killed him, but perhaps the most solid piece of evidence they have to go off is a video taken from a nearby church, across the street from his apartment. It was 7:15 a.m. on July 21, 2016. Police said someone was picking up trash in the parking lot of the First Pentecostal Church off Ed Bluestein Boulevard.

It's a mystery that dates back nearly 50 years, but officials are hopeful that modern technology can help solve it. Sept. 7, 1975, was a sunny day in Central Texas. A family was having a picnic at a roadside park off Highway 77, south of Giddings near the Fayette County line, when the father spotted a trash bag under a tree.

AUSTIN, Texas — After more than four decades, a man has been charged in the death of a University of Texas at Austin nursing student. On the night of Jan. 9, 1980, 25-year-old Susan Leigh Wolfe was kidnapped on Franklin Street while walking to her friend's house. A witness said a car, identified as a 1970 Dodge Polara, stopped and the driver got out, grabbed Wolfe, put a coat over her head and forced her into the car.
