Taken in context, most of the Ottawa River watercourse from Pembroke to Hawkesbury is now covered by Flood Watch. The Ministry of Natural Resources, Pembroke District is advising residents that a Flood Watch is in effect for areas along the Ottawa River between Pembroke and Britannia until Tuesday, April 29th. A companion Flood Watch issued by the Ottawa River Regulating Committee extends to the area covered along the lower Ottawa from Arnprior to Hawkesbury. It remains in effect until May 21st.
