    JONESBORO — The Jonesboro City Council is going ahead with a forensic audit that will look into the city’s finances. At its Monday, April 7 work session, the City Council voted 4-3 for the audit. Council members Bobby Lester, Don Dixon, Tracey Messick and Billy Powell voted in favor, while Alfred Dixon, Asjah Miller and Mayor Donya Sartor were opposed. Sartor said the city should hold off on a forensic audit until two regular audits are completed and turned in.
