3 1/1 An eight-year-old RNLI supporter has raised more than £3,000 for the charity by using the power of his feet. Johnathon Jarvis completed a 60-mile walk from Happisburgh to Hunstanton to raise money for the charity that saves lives at sea. He set off on Thursday, May 28, and completed the walk on Sunday, June 1. The youngster was accompanied by his parents Lee and Kayleigh, as well as family and supporters.

The project, scheduled to commence on Monday, June 16, will involve the reconstruction of both sides of the footway, including vehicular accesses, and the installation of new edging at the back of the footway. The work, to be carried out by Norfolk County Councilâ€™s infrastructure department and their contractors, is expected to last around 13 weeks, operating from 7am to 4.30pm. Multiple emergency services on scene due to incident near seaside town

Members of the police, fire service and ambulance were called to the scene at 2.33pm in Church Street in Cromer. It is currently unclear what the exact nature of the incident but emergency services remain at the scene. Sanders Coaches has confirmed that "severe" delays in the area are expected due to the incident. There will be no services running towards Norwich from Church Street, Norwich Road, Suffield Park, Crossdale Street or Northrepps.
