Grapevine City Council approved road work on Northwest Highway, while also creating a no-parking zone on Kubota Drive. What happenedDuring a May 6 meeting, a contract was approved for $125,000 to O. Trevino Construction for concrete paving repairs at the intersection of Northwest Highway and Park Boulevard, according to city documents. The repairs by the North Richland Hills business will be done between 8 p.m.-5 a.m., nightly to help reduce impact to travel flow, according to the council memo.

Grand Hyatt DFW Airport will undergo a $34 million renovation. Located inside Terminal D at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, the company announced in a news release May 14 that a multiphase renovation will begin in July.
