DENTON — The Denton Fire Department is under investigation by the N.C. Department of Insurance, but officials say they are not able to say much about the inquiry. Town Manager Angel Jenkins issued a press release acknowledging the investigation. “The Town of Denton is aware of the ongoing investigation by the North Carolina Department of Insurance involving the Denton Fire Department,” the release said.
