    New Garages ChristenedThe three new garages built at Imola as part of the circuit’s commitment to the FIA WEC are in use this weekend by the three-car Proton Competition team.     The FIA WEC’s Imola weekend got underway with Ferrari topping Free Practice 1. Robert Kubica ran fastest in the #83 499P with a last-gasp flyer at the end of the 90-minute. His time was a 1:32.065, which dethroned the #50 factory Ferrari that finished with a time of 1:32.301 from Antonio Fuoco. Best of the rest was the #12 JOTA Cadillac V-Series.R, which slotted in third with a 1:32.331 from Alex Lynn.

    Century Motorsport has announced a special GT3 guest entry for the upcoming British GT Silverstone 500 on 26-27 April. Silver-Am class duo Will Moore and series debutant Jon Kearney will co-pilot the BMW M4 GT3 Evo for the three-hour race. The team downsized their British GT programme to two BMW M4 GT4 Evos for this year’s full season but have made an exception for the second round of the 2025 schedule with the GT3 addition.
