LBC

LBC, which stands for the London Broadcasting Company, is a national talk and phone-in radio station located in London. It holds the distinction of being the first licensed commercial radio station in the UK, starting its broadcasts on 8 October 1973, just a week before Capital Radio. The launch of LBC also marked the start of IRN's broadcasting, as LBC offered this service to independent local radio stations across the country.
