17 The Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce will host a Job Fair and Resource Expo on April 29 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Minden Civic Center, 520 Broadway St.The chamber is partnering with the City of Minden, Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College, the Coordinating & Development Corporation, and the Louisiana Workforce Commission to connect employers with prospective workers. Participation is free for businesses and resource providers, but space is limited.

23 The Archery Shooters Association (ASA) Easton Hoyt Pro/Am Tour will return to Camp Minden April 24-27, 2025, bringing thousands of professional and amateur archers, spectators and sponsors to Webster, Caddo and Bossier parishes. Hosted by the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission in partnership with Visit Shreveport-Bossier and the Webster Parish Convention and Visitors Commission, the four-day event marks the fourth year of a 10-year contract between the ASA and Camp Minden.

32 The 23rd Annual Burn Run, hosted by the Brother’s Keepers Motorcycle Club 1st-Shreveport Chapter, will take place April 25–26 at Lake Bistineau State Park to raise funds for Camp I’m Still Me, a regional burn camp for children. The event begins at 5:00 PM Friday, April 25, and concludes at 6:00 PM Saturday, April 26. Activities include live music, food, a trivia run, and a live auction scheduled for 12:30 PM Saturday.
