BOZEMAN, Mont. — Helena AA fended off a late surge from Bozeman 6-3 Thursday for the Senators' first win over the Bucks this Legion baseball season. Bozeman was 2-0 versus Helena before Wednesday, and the loss snaps the Bucks' five-game winning streak. Bozeman outhit the Senators 9-8 but capitalized on base running. The Bucks jumped out in front in the first inning with a Cole Smith RBI groundout for a 1-0 lead. The Senators were able to tie it up in the third inning with clever base running.
