Oklahoma State Football 549 STILLWATER – Saturday, April 19 is your day; don’t waste it as head coach Mike Gundy is inviting all of you to the Saturday practice at 1 p.m. inside Boone Pickens Stadium. OK, it’s not a spring game, but you will get a practice with individual drills where you can see the basics, speed effort, agility, can they catch, can they run, and can they pursue. Oh, they will also be hitting.

Oklahoma State Football 869 STILLWATER – The sixth practice of spring football is in the books, and this was the longest with a couple of extra periods added on for some extra 11-v-11. It was close to real football in full pads and with a full officiating crew there. Tags:2025 Oklahoma State Spring Football, Kalib Hicks, Gavin Freeman, Football, Football Recruiting, Oklahoma State

STILLWATER – One of the byproducts of changing the football coaching staff is Oklahoma State’s practices have an increased energy or juice. Head coach Mike Gundy has said that, and he has added the decibel level is higher and the language more colorful. Gundy used to discourage four letter words from the practice vocabulary. But as the Cowboys entered practice No. 5 of the spring on Thursday (April 3), he admitted that has changed.

I don't know why it has to be a set amount or it needs to be published. Hopefully with an interim president AD Weiberg will make the call. I have been concerned about this since the Dec. PR fiasco with Gundy's contract and then the questionable Dr. Shrum resignation with what looks like a "good old boy" internal audit. The "leadership" seems more focused on making sure everyone knows who has the power rather than a realization of the volatility of college athletics and working to survive.

STILLWATER – Fourth day of Oklahoma State spring football and finally: they had some football. Initially, I thought they would be in helmets, shoulder pads and shorts, but it was full pads on Tuesday to start week two. Head coach Mike Gundy had to finish practice with his semi-annual “take care of each other” speech. You want your players being physical as football is a physical sport. However, you want to practice a little more controlled than you are on game day.
