Providence Business News, often referred to as PBN, is a weekly publication that highlights business developments and the economy in Rhode Island and Bristol County, Massachusetts. The paper was established in March 1986 by Robert C. Bergenheim, who was also serving as the publisher of the Boston Business Journal at the time. PBN released its inaugural issue in May of the same year. For a significant part of its journey, the paper has been under the leadership of Robert's son, Roger C. Bergenheim, as publisher.
