Rocky Mountain Collegian
The Rocky Mountain Collegian serves as the daily newspaper for students at Colorado State University. Established in 1891, it is among the oldest daily student newspapers located west of the Mississippi River and holds the distinction of being the only daily student newspaper in Colorado that is operated by students. In 2010, the Society of Professional Journalists recognized the Collegian as one of the top three daily student newspapers in the country.

Fort Collins Police Service is responding to and investigating a shooting at Foothills Mall. Heavy police presence was reported in the area at 5:36 p.m., FCPS posted on Twitter. “Heavy police presence at Foothills Mall in Fort Collins,” the first statement read. “Please avoid the area while police assess the incident.”At 5:53 p.m., FCPS posted another update saying that officers were responding to a shooting at the mall.

Bryce James, who is currently a senior in high school, recently announced his intent to play for the Rams. After fielding diligent recruitment efforts, he decided to commit to CSU as a shooting guard starting in the 2025-26 season. Among all the excitement over Bryce James’ commitment, LeBron James issued a statement that flipped the basketball world on its head.

Directly across from Colorado State University sits Bizarre Bazaar Books & Music Store, located at 1014 S. College Ave. Bizarre Bazaar’s products don’t end at music and books; the store sells other forms of entertainment as well, including videos, stereo gear and action figures. The store is divided into three sections.
