Brothers Larry Allen, far left, of Sidney, and Dan Allen, of Maplewood, watch the house they grew up in moved 225 feet from the place it has sat since it was built in 1905. Standing with them is Larry’s wife, Ann Allen. The house was located across from the old VFW on Wapakoneta Avenue. It has been moved back from the road to the top of a hill where Dan’s son, Luke Allen, who currently owns the house, and Luke’s wife, Kristin Allen, will have a better view of the valley on their land.

A motorcycle driver crashed into a turning tractor at the intersection of Fort Loramie-Swanders Road and State Route 362 at around 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The driver of the motorcycle was transported by Careflight with significant injuries. Fort Loramie Police are investigating the crash. The Fort Loramie Fire Department also responded.

Knorpp needed a place to live as he is graduating from STAR House and Ihle used her newly created “Dwell House” organization to find him a permanent home. With the help of Dwell House volunteers Ihle decorates the home while the new owner or owners are away.
