South Jersey Times

South Jersey Times

The South Jersey Times is a regional newspaper dedicated to the South Jersey community in New Jersey. It was established on November 4, 2012, after the merger of three related publications: Gloucester County Times, The News of Cumberland County, and Today's Sunbeam of Salem, which all stopped printing after November 3. Initially, the newspaper concentrated on reporting news from Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties, but it later broadened its scope to include the entire South Jersey region. The South Jersey Times retained the staff from its predecessor papers and launched with an initial subscriber count of 30,000. It is also affiliated with NJ.com.

Sounds like it could be New Jersey — but you’re more likely to see all those Wawas in Florida now that new data show the Sunshine State has surpassed both New Jersey and Pennsylvania as the Wawa capital of the world. There were 304 Wawas in Florida as of May 6, surpassing New Jersey’s 293 locations, according to data aggregator ScrapeHero. More than a quarter of all Wawas are in Florida now.
