    The Bloomington South boys golf team left Prairie View with no place to go but up after a long round on Tuesday, June 17. Dinner and a good night's sleep and the Panthers will be at it for Round 2 of the IHSAA state finals after a round of 335 left them in last place in the 18-team field. Junior Colton Watson (78) is tied 42nd and junior Carson Gady (82) is tied for 67th to lead the way. Both are the only players back from last year's state team.

    BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football landed a verbal commitment from McEachern running back Jayreon Campbell on Monday night. Campbell announced his decision on social media. The three-star recruit is ranked No. 724 nationally and the No. 44 running back in the 2026 signing class, per 247 Sports' composite rankings. He had 31 scholarship offers including ones from Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

    While the pros were having trouble making par at Oakmont, Jason Bannister was having none of that at Stonecrest and Cascades over Father's Day weekend. With rounds of 67-65 on June 14-15, he run away with the men's championship title for the fourth year in a row at the 29th Medalist Tournament. Bannister took a four-shot lead into the second round, certainly remembering he nearly gave away last year's title and won by a single shot.
