The Times West Virginian is a daily newspaper published every morning in Fairmont, West Virginia. It serves not only Fairmont but also Bridgeport and nearby areas in Marion, Monongalia, Taylor, and Harrison counties. The newspaper originated in 1975 when two established publications, the Fairmont Times and the Fairmont West Virginian, merged. It took on its present name in 1976.
