    CANTON – The New Albany baseball team saw its season end in heartbreaking fashion June 13 at Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium. After overcoming some early controversy and rallying late to force extra innings, New Albany dropped a 3-2 decision in 10 innings to Amherst Steele in a Division II state semifinal. Steele (29-2) will play Whitehouse Anthony Wayne in the state final at 7 p.m. June 14 at Canal Park in Akron.
