Crews responded to the home in the 5900 block of Dunham Avenue in Lincoln Township around 9:30 a.m. on April 18 and found smoke showing from the roof and fire coming from a corner of the home.

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of M-60 and M-40 in Newberg Township around 1 p.m. Friday. The report states a vehicle, driven by 24-year-old Corey Chapman Jr. of Sunfield, Mich., was traveling south at the intersection. Police investigating shooting death of 15-year-old

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- The Michigan City Police Department reports the La Porte County E-911 Regional Dispatch Center received a call regarding a person being shot in building 12 of the Garden Estates West apartment complex around 12:20 a.m. Friday. Police say they arrived on scene and found a 15-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound. First responders provided life-saving measures on the victim before being transferred to Franciscan Health Hospital in Michigan City for further treatment.
