GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two men accused of conspiring to murder a third man in Grand Rapids in 2023 have been ordered to stand trial. After the fourth day of a preliminary hearing, a judge on Friday decided there was enough evidence to send Tyriq Bettison and Dominike Sterling’s case to trial, an attorney told News 8. The co-defendants are charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the death of Darryl Yarber, who was shot to death Nov. 6, 2023.

Our LGBTQ Fund is one of four community partnership funds through the Grand Rapids Community Foundation, an organization that has invested more than $314 million since 1930. The fund was first established back in 2014 with a focus on helping youth experiencing homelessness.
