    SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — Less than a month ago, Dennis Honholt was announced as South Haven’s new police chief. On Thursday, he resigned. Honholt was hired by South Haven from Tennessee, where he served as the public safety director in Dover, which is northwest of Nashville. Honholt was believed to have resigned from his position in Tennessee upon his start date of April 1, South Haven says. That was apparently not the case.

The last time Trump was in Michigan was the eve of Election Day, when he hosted a campaign rally in Grand Rapids.
