The Valley was in a severe weather outlook as recently as Sunday when a line of thunderstorms caused damage and power outages. Below is an example of a severe weather outlook that was issued for the Valley recently. These outlooks are released by the Storm Prediction Center (SPC) which is located in Norman, Oklahoma.

    (WKBN) – The Valley has been included in a severe weather outlook for the second week in a row as the spring thunderstorm season continues to roll. Unlike last week’s storm system, which did not end up producing severe weather in our area, this one has higher-end potential across the eastern United States. The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has released a severe weather outlook for Saturday and nearly the entire viewing area is located in a level 2 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms.
