Even though the main strength for the Nashville Predators will be offensively, their season will be dependent on their goalie performancefrom Juuse Saros. Saros holds the keys to the Predators' chances this upcoming season. If he can perform as a top-5 NHL goalie, Nashville will have a chance to go far. The Nashville Predators has a relatively short history compared to many of the all-time great NHL frachises, but even they've had memorable teams as well. A couple of Predators teams that come to mind are from mid 2000's. They had a lot of talent, but couldn't get over the hump. So, this time I want to dig deeper into those teams. Unlike the Ottawa Senators in 1993 or San Jose Sharks in 1992, they never had a really terrible record.

The Nashville Predators made significant acquisitions on paper to improve their offense, but the fit may not be as clean as it looks on paper. Trying to find their spots might be a tricky issue and Head Coach Andrew Brunette will have some dilemmas to solve.
