MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent has been charged by federal complaint with production of child pornography. Court documents say 51-year-old Timothy Gregg of Eagan, attempted, coerced and enticed a minor to take part in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing child porn. The father of the minor victim discovered multiple images and videos on the minor’s cell phone.

BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — With 34 confirmed cases, North Dakota has the highest rate of measles in the U.S.According to data from the North Dakota Public Health Association, the state’s rate of infection is 4.27 cases per 100,000 people. New Mexico and Texas follow. North Dakota’s first cases were reported in early April in Williams County. There are also cases in Grand Forks, Cass and Burke Counties.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A Fargo man is arrested on nearly a dozen outstanding warrants. The Red River Valley SWAT Team assisted Fargo Police and the Metro Street Crimes Unit with a high-risk, knock-and-announce search warrant at an apartment building within the 800 block of 17th Street South around 3 this afternoon. Antoren Bell, 35, was in the apartment and complied with commands.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A West Fargo woman has been sentenced after entering an Alford plea for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from her Fargo employer. Mary Peterson admitted there would be enough evidence to convict her of embezzling nearly $830,000 from Lunde Auto if the case went to trial. Court records say Peterson took the money over a seven year period beginning in 2015 while she was in charge of making cash deposits for the business.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Another defendant in a brutal downtown Fargo beating last year has been sentenced for his role in the assault. Terrell Smith will spend 30 days in jail and be on probation for two years after entering an Alford plea to accomplice to aggravated assault last month. The plea means Smith agrees there would be enough evidence to convict him for the April 2024 beating. Smith is accused of punching Sam Pikula and knocking him to the ground.
