    AMORY, Miss. (WTVA) - Amory is buzzing for the 44th annual Railroad Festival. The festival is set for April 10-13 in and around Frisco Park. Tens of thousands of festival goers flock to the small town each April for food, arts and crafts, live music and carnival rides. Saturday also includes a 5K race and a car show. This will help first responders in the event of an emergency. "It could mean life or death on getting that ambulance, getting an officer to get that first responder there to help that loved one in an emergency," Police Sgt. John Michael Lay said.

    TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - A Tupelo student won big at a national show choir competition. Tupelo Middle School Splash and student Mary Liddy Wyatt recently competed at the Franklin Central Hoosier Show Choir Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana. Wyatt took home the solo grand champion award. Her latest win followed a similar victory at a competition in Jackson. "I was sitting with my friends," she explained.
