MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A tractor-trailer truck rollover early Monday morning has shut down the Silver Bridge in the Point Pleasant area, dispatchers said. According to Mason County dispatchers, no one was injured, but fuel spilled onto the roadway. The road is closed in both directions due to the incident. The Point Pleasant Fire Department said in a Facebook post it will be a "lengthy cleanup." A timeframe was not immediately available.

Eyewitness News sat down with Executive Director Monica Mason to find out why she thinks the agency is in this scenario. "KCEAA faces the same workforce issues along with flat and/or decreasing health insurance reimbursement from our payers, as most EMS agencies not only in the state but in the country are facing," Mason said.
