    BROOK PARK, Ohio – Fleeing & eluding: Engle RoadAn unidentified man led police on a vehicle chase at about 11:45 p.m. June 1 into Cleveland. The man was driving a Honda Civic. He failed to signal while turning out of a Sunoco station at 6313 Engle. He also didn’t stop before driving over the sidewalk, as required by law. Police tried to pull over the Civic but the man kept driving northbound on Engle. He turned eastbound onto Snow Road and ran a red light. Then he entered Interstate 71 northbound.

    Community NewsPublished: Jun. 21, 2025, 9:14 p.m.BROOK PARK, Ohio – A Brook Park resident called police at about 10 p.m. June 5 and said a 47-year-old Ledgebrook Drive man walked out of his house and threatened to shoot his dog. The resident was walking his dog on Ledgebrook at the time. He said the Ledgebrook man yelled from his house window that if the resident didn’t pick up his dog’s feces, he would shoot the dog. The man then stepped out of his house, carrying a handgun.

    Community NewsPublished: Jun. 21, 2025, 9:05 p.m.BROOK PARK, Ohio – A 52-year-old Cleveland man carrying a firearm was arrested at about 7 p.m. June 5 after he threatened to shoot a juvenile at Saharid Social Center, 15325 Brookpark Road. As police arrived, dispatchers told them that the man was in the club’s bathroom. Police ordered everyone outside so that they could enter. Unbeknownst to police, the Cleveland man left the building with everyone else.

A Brookside resident called police and said the woman was in the woods on his property. When police arrived, they spotted the woman standing near a creek. The woman started to walk away but police stopped her.

    BEREA, Ohio – Trespassing: West Bagley RoadA Columbia Station woman, 44, was banned from all Marc’s Deeper Discount stores June 12 after she caused a disturbance inside Marc’s on West Bagley. The manager at Marc’s called police at about 2:30 p.m. He said the woman had screamed and cursed at store workers. When police arrived, the woman was in the passenger seat of a vehicle parked outside Marc’s. She was trying to take a photograph of the store manager.
