The women lived in the same residential development and were attending a homeowners association meeting when the incident occurred.

BEREA, Ohio – Theft of bicycle: North Rocky River DriveA Berea boy, 17, faces criminal charges after he stole a bicycle from a 15-year-old Brook Park boy on May 30. The victim said he had arranged to sell the bike to the Berea boy on Instagram. They scheduled a meeting at Speedway, 880 North Rocky River. The two boys met at about 2 p.m. Before handing money over, the Berea boy asked if he could test-ride the bike. The victim said yes.

A family member called police at about 9 p.m. June 1. He said the man, possibly high on methamphetamine, was driving up and down Franklin Street. Police knew the man and that he was a drug-user. They also knew that his driver’s license had been suspended.

The older man said he was driving to work on West Bagley when another driver, later identified as the Parma man, pulled a vehicle into his workplace parking lot.
