Coming to Colchester - Tinchy Stryder (Image: Tinchy Stryder) A RAPPER who has had two UK number one singles is joining the line-up of a Colchester festival. Ghanaian-British rapper, singer-songwriter Tinchy Stryder will perform at this year’s ALB Festival in Lower Castle Park on September 13. Tinchy Stryder began making music in 1997 and in 2001 he joined the grime music collective Roll Deep alongside popular artists Wiley and Dizzee Rascal.

Stacey Watson, 38, of Greenstead, is the owner of hair salon Hairatio, in Cowdray Avenue, Colchester, which she founded in April 2022. Ms Watson started her career as a hairdresser at the age of 14 and eventually went freelance and worked in Ibiza to style fashion models.

Magenta Hotels Ltd is proposing to build the well-known coffee shop on land adjacent to the Holiday Inn Express, in Birchwood Road, according to a planning application submitted to Colchester Council on May 8.
